The Consultative Meeting on Empowering the Digital Economy of Women Entrepreneurs in the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in the Vice Presidency Office for Women and Family Affairs, and other governmental representatives.

In this meeting, the necessary conditions for the sale and export of women-made products and the creation of skills to identify local resources and indigenous capacities in various areas in the field of cyberspace were discussed.

Also, strengthening more cross-sectoral cooperation in executive agencies, government support institutions, financial institutions, resource activation, simplification of existing solutions for women as entrepreneurs, low-cost facilities, and paving the way for cooperation between social facilitation groups and specialized technical groups in the company in startups were other topics that were discussed at the meeting.

The national project "Empowering the Digital Economy of Women Entrepreneurs" has been launched since the beginning of October this by the Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs. This project is based on numerous agreements between the Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs and the relevant executive agencies, policies, and joint planning with relevant government institutions as well as representatives of the private sector, the country's important virtual sales portals, several social facilitators, and representatives of startup and accelerator groups.

To achieve its set goals, three educational webinars have been designed and implemented so far. The challenges, necessities, necessary standards for offering women's products in cyberspace, the process of online sales of products, circumstances of setting up sales booths in cyberspace and improving the quality of products, and methods of product sustainability in Internet marketing have been studied and practiced.
