Mu Hong: Continuation of cultural talks between Iran and China / Strengthening cultural exchanges in the post-Coronavirus era

The head of the international section of the Chinese Women's Federation stressed the need to continue cultural talks between Iran and China and said, "Deepening cooperation and cultural exchanges are important to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus."
According to the public relations of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, Ms. Mu Hong, the head of the International Section of the Chinese Women's Federation, said in the fourth round of cultural talks between Iran and China, hosted by the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, "The year 2020, which just ended, was an unprecedented year for people in China and around the world. In the face of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, led by Xi Jinping, achieved significant results in its joint struggle with the Coronavirus under the central slogan "People First, World Security First."
She stated, "Today, the fourth joint seminar of Chinese and Iranian women with the main theme of "strengthening the friendship exchanges between Chinese and Iranian women in the post-Coronavirus era and creating a society with a common human destiny" was virtually held. It is important to deepen cooperation and exchanges to help the people of the two countries fight together against this pandemic."
The role of women in family stability during Coronavirus pandemic
Expressing the crises and dangers of the new years in the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Khadijeh Safiri the sociologist and faculty member of Al-Zahra University said, "The long-term impact of this pandemic on the physical, mental and social health of family members, especially women, can cause serious harm to the family and society."
Referring to the role of women in family stability during the Coronavirus outbreak, Safiri said, " Health is the basic parameter of achieving sustainable development that is achieved through self-care at the individual, family, and social levels. Self-care is an acquired, conscious, and purposeful behavior in which a person uses his or her knowledge, skills, and abilities as a resource to care independently for the health of himself, children, and family."
Women in poverty alleviation in the face of global economic challenges
Seyedeh Fatemeh Moghimi, Chairwoman of the National Association of Businesswomen of Iran, stated in her speech, "Today, the status of human beings is the main axis of development, and attention to the basic human needs and liberation from poverty is not only a humanitarian aspect, but the enjoyment of the dimensions of development and liberation from poverty is an inalienable right in international law."
Moghimi stated, "Therefore, one of the things that must be done to get rid of poverty is to formulate and use parameters that are sensitive to the issue of gender and the rights of individuals. "
According to the announcement, with the help of the International Women's Cultural Relations Office of the General Directorate of Cultural Cooperation and Iranians Abroad, the Iranian Cultural Counselor in Beijing, and the participation of the National Women's Federation of China and the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs and Al-Zahra University, the fourth round of cultural talks between Iranian and Chinese women was held in the presence of women officials of the two countries with the title of strengthening interaction in the post-Coronavirus "Common World: Common Destiny" in the form of a video conference.
